History

For more than 15 years, the Rencontres de Chimie Organique bring together young chemists from the Paris area (PhD students, post-docs and permanent investigators) and allow them to share their research results. These annual meetings were initiated by Prof. Gérard Cahiez with the support of the Ile-de-France section of the French Chemical Society (SCF).  

From their creation, the RCO have taken place at several universities and research centers of Ile-de-France, and have attracted an impresive number of internationally recognized plenary speakers:
